Karin Aschwanden

Karin Aschwanden came to Muelrath Public Affairs in 2008 after graduating from California State University, Chico with a degree in Agriculture Law and Policy Development. 

While studying at Chico State, Karin worked with agriculturalists throughout the Central Valley fighting for the preservation of some of California’s most precious resources.  As an intern for the San Joaquin Farm Bureau, Karin was responsible for implementing different lobbying and public outreach strategies to counteract legislation that would have hindered the agriculture industry.  Karin also assisted with the development of community awareness programs to enhance the perception of farmers in California.

Karin has proven herself as an integral member of the Muelrath Public Affairs team.  She has used her experience to effectively coordinate public relations efforts by managing detailed project databases, outreach programs and has acted a liaison between community members and elected officials.
